Please follow the following steps:
- Turn off the printer: First of all, find the power button on the printer and slowly press it to turn it off.
- Unplug the power cord: Also disconnect the power cord from the HID FARGO HPD5000 printer and the electrical outlet.
- Wait for a few minutes: After that please allow the printer to sit unplugged for at least 30 seconds.
- Plug the power cord back in: Now reconnect the power cord to the printer and the electrical outlet.
- Turn on the printer: Press the power button to turn the printer back on.
The printer should now go through a normal startup sequence. If the issue or problem persists, you may need to consult the printer’s user manual or contact HID FARGO support for further assistance.
