Plastic card printers can print text, line art, and photographic images. They can also encode magnetic stripes and provide smart card chip programming contact stations, all in a single step process.

Types of ID card printing:

There are main two ID printing styles include:

  • Direct-to-card (or dye-sublimation)
  • Reverse transfer
